The 9th International Congress on Noise as a Public Health Problem meets in the spacious and quiet convention center of the Grand Pequot Tower at the Foxwoods Resort.

Foxwoods includes more than thirty restaurants, a theater, nightclubs, the largest casino in the world, a salon and spa, two championship golf courses, and a wide choice of shopping opportunities.

The Grand Pequot Tower also houses a hotel rated with four diamonds by the AAA. Guests may take advantage of free valet parking, free high-speed internet connections, 24-hour room service, and free luggage storage.

The Congress has reserved a block of rooms in the Grand Pequot Tower at a reduced rate of no more than $154 per night (plus tax) for registered participants. All the rooms come with a coffee maker, a refrigerator, a hair dryer, a writing desk, and a breakfast table. The bathrooms are equipped with a marble bathtub and shower combination and a vanity area.

Southeastern Connecticut includes a number of other good hotels. However, they are distant from Foxwoods and require transportation by automobile or by taxi in order to get to the meetings.
